What type of pets do you care for?
We care for domestic animals, livestock and exotics.
Do you have references?
Yes, please call us and we will be happy to provide our references.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, we need a signed statment that you agree to let us in your home to care for your animals. We also need to make you aware of our policies and procedures.
If I make a reservation on-line will this confirm my service request?
No, your reservation will not be confirmed until you receive a call from us verifying the specifics of your service request.
Will I always have the same pet sitter?
Yes, I am the sole pet care provider for Peace Love and Paws.
What happens if my sitter becomes ill or injured?
In the event of an emergency or illness, I have a rapport with another reliable pet sitting service (bonded and insured) that I can count on as a back up. You will be notified immediately if, for any reason, I am unable to care for your pet.
What happens if my pet becomes ill or injured?
We are dedicated to the excellent care of your pet. In the event of an emergency, we will take your pet to your own veterinarian or the emergency animal clinic nearest to your home. You will be contacted immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will then contact the emergency number you have provided us with.
Can the pet sitting responsibilities be shared?
In the best interest of the pet owner, pet(s) and Peace Love and Paws, we ask that you solely contract us. This is to insure the safety of your home/pet(s) as requested of us.
What time will you visit my pets?
We make every attemp to visit your pets at the time you request.
How will I be billed for services?
At the end of each service period we will leave a detailed invoice. We ask that payment be made within 3 days of the end of service. If you so choose, you may leave your payment before your departure. If this is the first time for us to care for your pets(s), we ask for payment to be left at the time of service.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, check and credit cards.
How are gratuities handled?
Gratuities are graciously accepted, but not expected.
How much notice of cancellation do you need?
Cancellation of a scheduled daily visit, or overnight stay, within 48 hours, will be billed the full amount of service.
Should I do anything upon my return home?
Yes, we ask that you please call us to confirm your return home. If we do not hear from you, we will attempt to call you. If we are unable to reach you, we will make additional visits to ensure your pet(s) are well cared for.
